Minutes 

Members present:  Marion Askegaard, Marilyn Guy, Betty Jean Larson, Jasi O’Connor, Kay Schneider, Mike Wohlfeil, Haimeng Zhagn

 

  1. Jasi agreed to record minutes for the year

 

  1. Kay distributed the schedule of fall assessment workshops to be distributed to others as appropriate.

 

  1. Reviewed charges from the Senate Coordinating Committee. 

 

  1. Discussed a request from the Curriculum Committee.  Mike will respond to Dawn Tommerdahl regarding our discussion.

 

  1. Discussed departmental reports for English and Sociology.

 

  1. Mike agreed to revise the cover letter to be sent with departmental responses.   Kay will work on drafting responses to English and Sociology.  Once a model is developed, it will be used for evaluating the remainder of the departmental reports.  Kay will send out 4-5 reports for review for our next meeting. 

 

  1. Next meeting will be held Oct. 14, 9:30 a.m., Jones 323.
