The meeting opened with discussion concerning the Inquiry Seminars that will be offered for the first time next fall (2008).  The Committee suggested that a working group be formed, composed of instructors who have previously taught Inquiry Seminars, to assist faculty as they develop these courses.  Gregg will draft a form that will incorporate these ideas.

The Math 102 proposal and the committee’s draft of a letter of response was the next order of business.  The discussion centered on the wording of how this course can be offered for core credit.  The final wording will read, “Math 102 will be will open to elementary education majors for core credit; no other students enrolling in the course will receive core credit.”

In the time remaining, the committee discussed the following applications for courses seeking Core Exploration credit; each course was passed.
