The
Committee continued to review applications for Core courses to be offered in
the fall semester 2008-2009. There was
some initial discussion concerning errors made on the application forms and
accompanying syllabi; some haste seems to have taken place in the preparation
of the applications.

beginning our discussion of the first several courses, the committee decided
that it would be necessary to have the guidance of a member of the Religion
Department in our deliberations. Further discussion of these courses was halted
until such a time when a Religion Professor could join us.

syllabus submitted was actually the one attached to the course proposal. Also requested was more detail concerning how
