Promotion Tenure and Evaluation Committee
Charge: Develops policies and criteria for appointment,
evaluation, promotion and tenure of faculty. Develops policies
governing the selection, responsibilities and terms of department
chairs. Recommends individuals for promotion and tenure.
Membership consists of five tenured faculty (one from each
core area) and the dean of the college. One of the five tenured
faculty members serves as chair. (current
