LabVIEW Tutorial |
![]() |
These ten assignments were created to give students a basic understanding of LabVIEW programming. They are intended to be self-paced, but students should reasonably be expected to complete one assignment per week. (This leaves time for instructors to incorporate a student-designed LabVIEW-based project, if so desired.) Each assignment consists of a programming exercise along with related pages in the LabVIEW textbook. Programming hints are given, along with a picture of the front panel, and a downloadable working version of the VI (with no access to the block diagram). The first assignment is usually completed as a class within the first laboratory session. (It is optional, or it can be reconfigured for particular situations.) Subsequent assignments are completed by the students, using the instructor only as a resource when needed. Questions, comments, and suggestions for improvement are welcome and should be sent directly to Mark Jensen.
