Theatre ScholarshipsThe Theatre Art Scholarship program awards are designed to recognize and reward excellence in both performance and technical theatre. Scholarships are awarded to those who exhibit proficiency in all areas of theatre; including performance, design, and management. Applicants for the theatre scholarships must rank in the top quarter of their high school class or have at least a 3.0 grade point average. Interested students should submit an application that includes a résumé of high school activities and two references. Semifinalists are invited to Concordia for interviews. Theatre Scholarships are focused on student involvement in the co-curricular program, so recipients do not need to be Theatre majors. Recipients are expected to make a significant contribution to the Theatre program each semester. Students can act in a production, do technical work on a show, or assist in the production from many aspects.
