Academics in the Theatre
Concordia Theatre is about experiences and learning how to use what you learn here in everyday life. This is why many students will pair a theatre major or minor with other majors and minors. Classes in the theatre are different than regular classes where students sit, take notes and "learn." Students get hands on experience in their theatre classes. Since the theatre is a student-oriented organization and events continuously happening in the theatre, students practice what they have learned in a fun and exciting environment. Students get the experience without the stress of a good grade, only the stress of creating something of a bigger importance. Since theatre can be used in everybody's life, we offer four-year scholarships to first year students who don't necessarily have to be a theatre major. |
