Take a look at this year's season! Mainstage Productions
Each season the Concordia
Theatre presents a full and varied theatre experience. Each season there
are four Mainstage productions
each season, a musical, and a selection of plays drawing from genres such as classical and contemporary dramas,
issue-oriented plays and light comedies. Recent musicals include Guys &
Dolls, Pippin and
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, with casts of up to 50 students. Concordia Theatre is
dedicated to producing classical plays such as Shakespeare’s The Tempest
and Comedy of Errors, the Japanese drama Rashomon, and the
Greek tragedy Medea. Recent experimental works have included
Fefu and Her Friends, Equus and Angels in America. Plays
are selected so, over their four years, students will experience a wide variety of
styles, playwrights, and themes.
