Life Insurance 

Employees working three-quarter time (at least 1500 hours/year) or more are eligible to participate in the life insurance plan, effective the first day of the month following employment. 

This plan is written through MetLife. The benefits and premiums for this plan are based on salary and age. The premiums for one-times salary coverage will be paid for in full, by the College. If you want an additional one-or-two-times salary (for a total of three-times), that premium will be paid through payroll deduction. Employees must sign up within 31 days of the date they begin benefit-eligible employment, or a statement of health will be required and coverage may be denied.

Beneficiary Changes:
Life Insurance Beneficiary Change forms
are available at the Office of Human Resources upon your request. Once you have completed the form, it should be returned to our office and included in your personnel file.
