How Do I Import References from Library Databases Into RefWorks?

These directions apply to the following database:

  • ProQuest Newspapers

1. Perform a search and check the references you want to import into RefWorks.

2. Click the My Research tab.

3. Click the "Export citations" link.

4. Select "Export directly to RefWorks."

5. After logging in to RefWorks, your references will be automatically imported.

6. Your references should appear in the Last Imported folder.
