You may need to modify your searches from the directions below to locate appropriate articles and/or narrow your choices.

SPORTDisc
Go to the SportDisc link on the Ylvisaker Library page.  Click on SportDisc.  Check the boxes next to SPORT Discus (1998-2003) and  SPORT Discus (1830-1997).  Click "Open Selected Databases."  Check the "English" box and type in the [activity] and "biomech*" to search.  Search your subject and locate at least five (5) journal articles.  Check the boxes for the articles that look related to biomechanics.  Click "Check for holdings" to see if the journal is available at Concordia.  Once you have selected the journals, then click "E-mail."  The article reference and abstract will be e-mailed to you.
Physical Education Index
Go to the Physical Education Index link on the Ylvisaker Library page.  Click on Physical Education Index.  Check the Physical Education Index 1970-Current.  Type in the [activity] and "biomech*."  Set for "as keyword(s)" and "All of the words" and "English Only."  Also, sort by "relevancy rank" and show "full record."  Search your subject and locate at least five (5) journal articles.  Check the boxes for the articles that look related to biomechanics.  Click "Check Your Library" to see if the journal is available at Concordia.  Once you have selected the journals, then click "Save/Print/Email Records."  Select show "full record."  The article reference and abstract will be e-mailed to you.

Searching for web pages using an internet search engine: Yahoo | HotBot | Netscape.  Search your [activity] to locate five (5) web pages on your topic.

Submitting for articles using Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Go to the Library Patron Information and Requests page within the Ylvisaker Library page.  Check the appropriate bullet under "Submit an ILL request to your library," most likely "magazine or journal article."  Fill in all available information and hit the "Submit ILL Request."  Make sure to put a "needed by" date that is approximately six (6) weeks after your submission date.  To check on the status of your ILL's go to Library Patron Information and Requests and click the "title" option under "Display items linked to your patron record."  This will tell the status of the items you ordered.
