Four Year Advising Plan |
|
Last April, the faculty
approved the creation of a four-year advisement plan that helps explain
how students, faculty, and staff should be involved in advising. It also
outlines general goals for each year for students, which their faculty
advisor and other advisors around campus help them to complete. As the
legislation says, "In order to prepare students to engage responsibly in
the world, Concordia College demonstrates leadership in advising by its
integrated approach. Integrated advising reflects a broad understanding
of advising and supports the educational development of students as they
move into, through, and out of their college experience. The goals,
expectations, and learning outcomes for advising are recognized and
addressed in partnership between Academic Affairs and Student Affairs."
