Web Site Tutorial: Step 2
STEP 2: Once
Front Page has loaded, you want to make a new web site, which FrontPage
calls a "web". Click, FILE -> NEW -> WEB.
We want to create an empty web, so select
"Empty Web" from the "Web Sites" selection box.
Under options on the right hand side, we
need to specify where we'd like to save our new Web. We want to save this
to our X: drive so that we can access this web from any computer on
campus. It will also make it easier for us to upload to the web server.
I've named my web "my_new_web". Make sure that you have the X:\
before your web name.
Now, we need to create our first page. Go to FILE --> NEW
--> Page. Select normal, and click ok.
